“[...] from CELP January 1978, 48-06, off west coast of South Africa (18º02’S 34º31’E) [...] depth 70-0 m. [...]”.

Toponymic note and update

48-06 and 60-12 are sampling stations corresponding to the coordintes 34º31’S 18º02’E and 35º26'S 18º50'E, respectively (both near the southwestern coast of the Republic of South Africa).

Holotype: Museu de Ciències Naturals (Zoologia) de Barcelona, MZB 2013-4472 (”CELP, EST 48-06, 70-0 m, 34º31'S 18º02'E”; ex Cnidarian collection Institut de Ciències del Mar de Barcelona, CSIC, ANT 0022-1).

Paratypes: Museu de Ciències Naturals (Zoologia) de Barcelona, MZB 2013-4473 (”CELP 60-12, 85-0 m, 35º26'S, 18º50'E”; 1 specimen, ex Cnidarian collection Institut de Ciències del Mar de Barcelona, CSIC).
